Commissioned by the FRAGMENTAL MUSEUM to envision an urban outdoor structure/installation experimenting with the nature of performing art spaces, OFF and EXYZT designed BUFFER SPACE - a large-scale empty room with only the sky as its roof and a technically efficient wire frame scaffolding envelope, which integrates lighting and audio/video systems that sense and respond to the public.

The 220,000 square meter pedestrian-oriented Linked Hybrid complex, sited adjacent to the site of old city wall of Beijing, aims to counter the current urban developments in China by creating a new twenty-first century porous urban space, inviting and open to the public from every side. Filmic urban public space; around, over and through multifaceted spatial layers, as well as the many passages through the project, make the Linked Hybrid an “open city within a city”. The project promotes interactive relations and encourages encounters in the public spaces that vary from commercial, residential, and educational to recreational. Drive-In Automobile Museum in Nanjing

3gatti have become the project winner of the international competition for the construction of the Automobile Museum in Nanjing.

The Automobile Museum has a building design that is dedicated to the automobile, where the automobile also is the vehicle that visits the space.

You visit the first external ramp of the museum with your own private car, like a SAFARI, you park your car on the roof and visit by foot the internal ramp going down.

The building could seem to appear as a urban car showroom, with its corners and angles filled with tempting, shining exposed automobiles.
