Presentation that Entertains Rather Than Just Show

A Design of exhibition and communication campaign of Spain Emotion. The colorful exhibition shows more than 50 products of Spanish design during Tokyo Designer's Week.

SPAIN EMOTION
Client: Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade - ICEX by Héctor Serrano Studio.

"We choose the emotion as a common thread for the exhibition, something very representative of Spanish character. We want to create a relax, suggestive and inspiring experience for the visitor."

"In order to communicate emotion we thought a space closer to a theatre than a gallery or museum, a space that aim to entertain, seduce and surprise rather than just show."

Four large shelves act as theater stages, the backlighting is used to transform the objects to protagonists, and the color as a narrative element.

All the pieces are white so that the light colour - which is in constant change - brings them to life. The visitor becomes the spectator using the of-cuts of the shelves as stools.
