Florence Square is situated in a strategic area in the new town of Fez. The square is structured by a main urban axis, a broad boulevard with a central island generating an important pedestrian flow. The remodeling of Florence Square in Fez aims to create a space for encounters and meetings at a pedestrian scale and the scale of the neighborhood, but also a place clearly identifiable as a representative part of the modern Fez.

G cafe Ashiya, by Office of Kenji Tagashira is based on a concept for a garden café, to which the customers can bring pets, nestled quietly in a residential area of Ashiya City.

The garden space facing the seating area was originally used for the flower arranging class that the owner used to run, and the seating area was the on the residential reception area that can also be used as a private room that creates an outdoor living space.

The urban nature along with this site which is connected with the Woomyeon-mountain and an urban park (as the natural greenery area) is the ideal place for an environment that can satisfy a residential and recreational purpose which is desired by most urban people.

In order to secure the maximum area of the south-facing garden, in the irregular polygonal shaped site, the main building is laid on the northern part of the site along with the irregular boundary line.

The clients – a family with young children - wished an extraordinary and comfortable treehouse. The design and realization was dedicated totally to the architects.

The treehouse serves as a room for rest and relaxation for the adults as well as a room to play and hideaway for the children close to the main house. The spacious terrace is large enough for a table and a few chairs.

This house is made "only" by slits, there are no windows. The wall of 105 m lengths with 60 slits surrounding the site realizes the architectural space in this narrow and long site. No other architecture has ever been realized by such a method.
