The new Hitech Asia directional building takes as clear reference to Thai architecture and decorative art traditions. The aim of this architecture is to find deep relations with the environment and the surrounding site.
S Clinic + Residence by Office of Kenji Tagashira
The S Clinic was not the easiest project in the world to construct as it’s located in the core of Osaka. As it’s facing the national road, there’s a great number of traffic existing in this area. The streets are lined with big and small stores, banks and medical facilities, and innumerable signboards are placed out miscellaneously. A disorderly row of buildings along the street is formed with them.
Chou Char-grilled Cuisine by Office of Kenji Tagashira
The design of the cuisine is mainly constructed with the resource of rough wood found in a warehouse. To make certain that their customers feel safe when eating at their cuisine, the black designed restaurant, in Nakatsu, Osaka City, has put its major focus on fresh ingredients and seasoning.
Tianjing Bridge Culture Museum by Beijing Sunlay Architectural Design Office.
The Bridge Culture Museum is located at the centre of the QiaoYuan Park in Tianjin. Because of it special location, on the central axis facing to the main entrance, (and it is supposed to be the landmark of the Bridge Park), this area is designed as a leisure and exhibition space in order to meet people’s needs of an "enjoyable show space".
The City of Copenhagen’s overall goal for the city’s development is that Copenhagen will become an international, outstanding example of sustainable urban development. The same values form the basis for the framework of the North Harbour Exhibition. The sustainable container-pavilion has been developed by the architect’s office MAPT in collaboration with the City of Copenhagen.
This house is made "only" by slits, there are no windows. The wall of 105 m lengths with 60 slits surrounding the site realizes the architectural space in this narrow and long site. No other architecture has ever been realized by such a method.
