Tranquility in the housing of Hyogo, Japan

Dwellings in Japan are known for not being the grandest. Architectural studio Love the Life had the mission to construct a simple home with low cost. Their solution was the "Ordinary House". Going back to the basics, where wood, metal and the neutral white together create a bright and tranquil home.

Site

The house is on the north side of the residential area of the hill in Kobe-shi west. The appearance of these wooden two stories is very simple. The roof is slopping down over the walls that are constructed as a white box. It is a small house with low cost.
