Waterdrop, a tribute to water. A spectacular and engaging experience capturing the beauty of water presented at 100% Design London. Making of waterdrop. A large team of specialist were involved in the development and construction during the six months from brief to final installation.

Waterdrop invites us to enjoy and explore water without even using a drop, thereby representing Roca’s fundamental belief that innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand.

The centerpiece is a representation of the beautiful experience of a drop falling into water, creating an enigmatic movement and ripples.

The installation uses innovative and sophisticated technology in an unexpected and inventive way to capture this captivating natural phenomenon.

The project intends to create debate and discussion about water. The public could leave their comments about what color means to them and if they wanted, to discuss them with Roca innovation Lab staff.

A blue moving line LED´s surrounds and defines the space, communicating the importance of this element as well as acting as an invitation and a welcome.
